Popcorn surprises me for a couple of reasons. First, she has her own unique style of writing. I like how she (as the video also states) does not sound like anyone else other than herself, but still makes her poems sound sophisticated and extremely deep. I am also surprised at her topics. Many of the poems are about murder, hate, rape, and loneliness, and poems about murder and hate are rarely written by children. Overall, her poetry is very inspirational. -Darley
